Q. Is your only site location in Kansas?
A. Yes, however we have students from several different states. Heartspring also offers consultation services to students all over the country. Additionally, through the U.S. Immigration and Custom Enforcement's Student and
Exchange Visitors Program (SEVP), Heartspring is certified to enroll
international students.
Q. Does Heartspring currently have a waiting list?
A. Limited openings are available.
Q. How long does the admissions process take?
A. Ideally it takes a few weeks for placement to occur for accurate planning purposes. Emergency placements can be made upon space availability.
Q. Who pays for a child to attend Heartspring school?
A. Most of our students come to Heartspring with funding through a school district and/or social service agency.
Q. Does the Heartspring school offer adult services?
A. No. Heartspring serves students aged 5-21. All students that enroll at Heartspring qualify for an Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) under IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act).
Q. How is Heartspring accredited?
A. Heartspring is accredited through the Kansas State Department of Education, Kansas Department of Health and Environment and is also licensed in many other states.
